PRP had not sold party tickets: Allu Aravind

Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) General Secretary Allu Aravind today dismissed as ''false propoganda'' the allegation that the PRP had forced party candidates to part with their movable and immovable assets in return for a party ticket. Addressing a press conference here, he said the party would expose at the right time the identity of the person, who was behind former party Spokesman Parakala Prabakar making such ''baseless allegations''.

The PRP had, infact, given ticket to members of the weaker sections of the society, who were not in a position even to give donation to the party, to ensure ''social justice'', he claimed The party not winning a good number of seats in the simultaneous elections to the Lok Sabha and the State Assembly did not mean that it was ''weak'', Mr Aravind said, adding the party would concentrate on building the organisation into a strong one to last for over 100 years.
