India's first Bollywood-themed restaurant launched in Hyderabad
The Ohris Group has launched Havmor - 70MM, India’s first Bollywood-themed restaurant and ‘1857’, Hyderabad’s first Colonial themed Restro-Bar at Jalvihar on Necklace Road in Hyderabad. A fashion show by Prasad Bidappa was organised to celebrate the launch besides a performance by an international band, Harvest Moon.Ravi Ohri, Chairman, Ohris’s Group, says, “The ‘Havmor - 70 MM’ has five zones: Romantic Zone, Action Zone, Comedy Zone, Villain Zone and Vamp Zone. The restaurant menu provides a wide range of choices in buffet or from a-la-carte. At Chaat-e-Bahar, one can relish lip smacking snacks, enjoy a meal or two from the menu. Also featured are detailed statues of Amitabh Bachchan and Helen with retro Bollywood elements, including staff uniforms. Table tops are all themed as per the zone. Authentic Bollywood memorabilia adorn the walls such as LP records, and posters depicting Bollywood stars.” ‘1857’ is Hyderabad’s first colonial themed resto-bar claims Amar Ohri, Executive Director, Ohris Group. It is has a Colonial Club theme reflecting the life-style from the days of the British Raj. It offers global cuisine and features a Mobile BBQ Grill at the tables, besides multiple Beer Tower types. The restaurant offers Indian and international cuisine, while the Lounge Bar serves cocktails and mock-tails. The 60 ft long bar has a newspaper styled menu as well as an LED Menu offering global cuisine. The Patiala peg menu (with Patiala sizes) has been launched for the first time. The restaurant overlooks the Hussain Sagar Lake.
