Kutami to bag 7 of 16 seats in Krishna District

Though the Congress and the PRP have put up a tough fight, the Maha Kutami is all set to bag 8 out of 16 seats in Krishna District. Its wins will come in Tiruvur, Gannavaram, Gudivada, Penamaluru, Mylavaram, Nandigama and Jaggayapeta. The Congress will definitely win in Machalipatnam and Avanigadda, while the PRP is all set to bag Kaikalur and Vijayawada Central. The seats that are deemed to close to call are Nuzvid (a close fight between Congress and Kutami), Pedana (fight between Congress and PRP), Vijayawada West (Congress and PRP), Vijayawada East (Kutami and Congress). In theLok Sabha, sitting MP Lagadapati Rajagopal will in all likelihood lose his seat to Vamsi of Kutami. This might come as a big blow to the Congress's chances in the district.
