Chiranjeevi’s PRP is likely to leave a strong footprint West Godavari too. The party almost looks certain to capture at least 6 of the 15 seats in the district. Its wins are likely to come in Nidadavole, Palakollu, Narsapuram, Bhimavaram, Tadepalligudem, Eluru and Polavaram. The Mahakutami flows second with most likely wins in Undi, Denduluru and Gopalapuram. The Congress is sure to win in Achanta, while it is giving a tough fight to the TDP-led Kutami in Chintalpudi, Tanuku and Ungutur. Chiranjeevi had all along been saying that the Godavaro districts along with Vizianagaram were his strongholds, but though Northern Andhra voters seem to have taken the PRP not too seriously, the voters in East and West Godavari districts to a large extent have vindicated Chiranjeevi’s faith in them. The voters in Palakollu are clear that they will vote for Chiranjeevi and ensure that he wins the seat. There have been reports emanating in the media that Chiranjeevi is likely to lose in Palakollu, but 123telugu’s survey has revealed that Chiranjeevi will win rather comfortably.
