Setting at rest speculation that Telugu Desam Party(TDP) may change its stand on Telangana issue following its poll debacle, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu today made it clear that the party was committed to statehood.
Launching the annual party conclave ''Mahanadu'' here, he said, ''we are for Telangana state as promised in our election manifesto.'' ''There is no change in the party's stand on the Telangana issue,'' he said, adding a party should have ''credibility''.
