Krishnam Raju looks to Congress

Senior actor and politician Krishnam Raju raised several eye brows when he called on chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy at his camp office in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Krishnam Raju was in the BJP for several years and even was made a union minister.

Krishnam Raju surprised everyone when he chose to join Chiranjeevis Praja Rajyam party. He contested the elections from Rajamundry and lost to Vundavalli and Murali Mohan. Krishnam Raju is now said to be disillusioned with the PRP.

Krishnam Raju denied threat he was planning to join the Congress. He termed it as courtesy call and said that he only met YS Rajashekar Reddy to congratulate him on taking over as chief minister for a second term.
