NDTV and CNN IBN’s exit polls favor Congress in AP and Delhi
Except for Times Now, which predicts a Kutami victory, other leading channels in the state are predicting a slender advantage for the Congress in AP. NDTV predicts that the Congress will get 141 seats, the Kutami the poll says will get 95 seats and the PRP is slated to win 35 seats. CNN IBN too predicts a slender advantage for the Congress with 135 seats, the PRP is slated to get 26 seats while the Maha Kutami is expected to win 115 seats. The Times Now survey has thrown up an interesting finding that the Congress will only get 101 seats, the PRP 49 and the Maha Kutami will get 126 seats. What is interesting in these findings are that the Kutamai account is more or less in a predictable range while the variation is between the Congress and the PRP tallies. The TV 9 survey too gives the Congress an advantage over its rivals by assessing that the ruling party might win 150 seats. In the MP front the Congress is expected to win 26 and the Maha Kutami is expected to win 16. However in all fairness the exit polls have been proven wrong in more than one occasion and one cannot say that these figures are conclusive. In the center too Congress is projected as having a slight advantage over the BJP-led NDA.
