Karimnagar (9/13) and Khammam (9/10) too in Kutami’s Kitty
With the possible exception of Ramagundam and Husnabad the Congress is all set to lose the remaining 11 seats in Karimnagar. Out of this 11 the Makakutami is set to bag 9 seats while the PRP might scrape through in Manthani and Huzurabad. The Maha Kutami is confident of winning in Koratla, Jagtial, Dharmapuri, Karimanagar, Choppandandi, Peddapalli, Vemulawada , Manakondur and Siricilla. The last mentioned is being touted as an acid test for KCR’s son, but the locals here are of the opinion that Taraka Rama Rao might scrape through to a win. Karimnagar almost gave a shocking verdict to KCR in the by-polls in 2007, but the TDP quickly regained its footing and joined hands with the TRS to consolidate its vote bank. Moving up North Khammam seems to be a clean sweep for the Kutami. R. Venkat Reddy from Palair will possibly be the sole winner for the Congress. In all the other 09 constituencies the Mahakutami is very confident of recording thumping wins. Bhadrachalam, Pinapaka, Khammam, Sathupalle are some of the constituencies that the Congress will perhaps face embarrassing defeats. Madira, Aswaraopet, Yellandu are the constituencies that the Congress despite giving a tough fight will most certainly lose to the Kutami.
