Smarting from the Praja Rajyam’s dismal performance in the polls, the party chief, Chiranjeevi, has turned to Vastu to change his fortunes. He is now making changes in his party headquarters in accordance with Vastu principles. All these days, the PR chief used to drive in through the east gate and enter his chamber from the back entrance to avoid fans and party activists.
But now he has stopped using the side-gate on the advice of Vastu experts and enters through the main gate, located at northeast side of the building. Also, instead of entering his chamber from the back door, the PR chief is now coming in through the front door. Chiranjeevi is also sitting in the southwest corner in his chamber, facing north.
Other important leaders including Mr Allu Aravind, Mr T. Devender Goud and Mr Ch. Harirama Jogaiah are also entering the party central office through the main gate located at the northeast.
Sources said the PR camp managers have decided to make other changes at the party headquarters to reorient the building. They are now planning to shift the toilets and flagpole to some other place to overcome Vastu dosha. The PR leadership will also make changes at the party’s central office-2, located at Krishna Nagar. However, Chiranjeevi denied reports that he was relying on Vastu to strengthen his party. “I don’t believe in superstitions,” he said. “I am not that weak to rely on unfounded beliefs.”
He added that changes were being made in the party headquarters only for the sake of comfort.
