Shriya has to kiss Vikram 17 times
At the recent audio launch of Kandasamy, the trailer of the movie was screened with the kissing scene featuring lead actors Shriya and Vikram. According to sources in the industry, when the scene was being shot with the two stars at MRC Nagar in the city, Shriya took 17 takes to get it right, before the director was finally satisfied. Towards the end, the frustrated actress walked off the sets claiming she hadn’t been informed about this scene beforehand, and didn’t want to do any more of it. A lot of coaxing and persuasion by director Susi Ganesan and co-star Vikram, was required before Shriya returned to the shoot
