Like water under a carpet, the PRP has silently seeped through to the conscience of the voters. Nellore rural and urban segments are a case in point. Vexed by an inactive, toothless and continuously warring MLAs, the voters of this town, it would seem have decided to teach the representatives of both these parties a lesson that they would not forget in a hurry. Come 16th May, the PRP cadre here are supremely confident that they have Nellore town in their kitty. Sai Kishore a balija kapu by community and a barber by profession says, PRP is sure to hoist its flag in Nellore. Maekapati Rajamohan Reddy was a worried man the moment he saw the huge voter turnout says an insider close to the MP. On the day of the re-polls the large number of youth that were present in the polling booths left nothing to imagination. They wore Jalsa T-shirts (with Pavan’s picture on the back). “If this is any indication, we are in for a drubbing” said Sudarshana Chary a Congress worker who was standing behind this correspondent in the queue.
