The state Finance Minister K. Rosaiah came down heavily on Chandrababu’s frequent “petition” trips to Delhi. He was referring to the recent petition that the Chandrababu-led grand alliance submitted on YSR’s corruption, to the President He alleged that the opposition leader has now started talking to the Governor and President because the people of the State have stopped believing him. He made a pointed reference to the book that the CPM had released on Chandrababu Naidu’s corruption. In that book, titled “Babu Jamana Avaneethi Khajana,” they had stated that Chandrababu Naidu’s regime witnessed corruption to the tune of Rs. 12000 crore Rupees. What since then has made them change their mind, Rosaiah wondered aloud. Stating that Chandrababu has been making allegations since 2004, Rosaiah challenged the opposition leader to prove at least one of his allegations. The people Rosaiah opined are with Congress. He pointed to the CNN IBN survey as proof of YSR Reddy’s popularity and expressed hope that the Congress will win the forthcoming polls.
