Corruption allegations, prove it or move it – CM confronts Chandrababu

Addressing meetings in Nalgonda and Warangal the CM DR YSR Reddy sounded a tad impatient with the unending “wailing style politics” of the opposition. He said for four long years, Chandrababu has heaped many allegations on him and is yet to prove even a single one. It is about time that he concentrates on state politics instead of targeting an individual and his family. He reminded the huge gatherings in his meeting that Chandrababu was the CM who had described agriculture as a wasteful occupation. He said the gods have been kind to the people of A P and the state has been blessed with continuous rains for the past five years. The populist schemes were introduced to lift the farmers who were mired in poverty thanks to the anti-farmer policies of the TDP, the CM said. He ridiculed Chandrababu’s promises and said that this was the very same leader who opposed the concept of populist schemes when in power.
