Sakshi’s promoter Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that the State was in the grip of a media war perpetrated and continued by Radhakrishna and Ramoji Rao to give Chandrababu Naidu maximum political mileage. He alleged that these three individuals, in the recent past, decided what the public of Andhra should and should not read. He recalled the remarks made by Rosaiah that if not for Sakshi the fate of the state would be unclear. He described the joining of the said three individuals as a yellow syndicate whose sole mission in life is shut down Sakshi. He said Sakshi has become an embarrassment to their leader Chandrababu Naidu as it was consistently publishing the other side of the story. He said his publication has been targeted to counter the popularity of his father who is the CM of the state. Jagan bemoaned the fact that despite numerous clarifications lies were published repeatedly in an attempt to project them as truth. Sakshi would not be cowed down, its promoter said, and promised that the battle would be joined in full.
