One of the most eagerly awaited movies of the year, ‘Leader’ is gearing for its release on December 21st. Directed by Shekhar Kammula, ‘Leader’ marks the foray of yet another star kid into Telugu Film Industry. Daggubati Rana, son of D.Suresh Babu and grandson of D.Ramanaidu will make his debut with this film. Richa Gangopadhyay and Priya Anand are also making their debut in Telugufilm industry. M.Saravanan, M.S.Guhan, Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan are jointly producing the film under AVM Productions banner. ‘Leader’ is AVM’s 174th movie.
According to our sources, the film was originally scheduled to release during Sankranthi. However, the release date has been advanced to December so that ‘Leader’ can become eligible for Nandi Awards, 2009. Accordingly the post production work is going on full throttle to ensure thatthe film releases on time. Shekhar Kammula, who has also written the story apart from directing this film, is said to be very confident about ‘Leader’. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music for this film. Thota Tharani is handling the art direction and production design and Vijay C.Kumar is handling the camera. The audio ofthe film was launched recently in Hyderabad.
