The name “SVR” and its connection with Prasanna has become a hot topic in the TD circles. TD insiders allege that SVR is a Bangalore-based real estate man and huge sum of monies have been passed through his sources to Prasanna’s accounts. They are pointing out to the eerie similarities in the manner in which the leaderships of the TRS and the TDP have been targeted. Both Chandrababu and KCR have been at the receiving end of intense revolts from within their parties. While the TDP has, till now at least, has withstood the attacks better, it now appears certain that it too will be tested severely. The TDP has information that SVR is from Prasanna’s home constituency and is acting as the liaison between a key person in the Congress and Prasanna Kumar Reddy. The TD alleges that the Congress is getting jittery over its poor performance in Nellore district and is also worried about the growing clout of Anam’s family in the district politics. They think that Prasanna will be used as a weapon to rein in the rapidly growing Anam family.
