In a week from now, Satyam will no longer be called Satyam. Its new owners are all set for a complete makeover - reduced employees, wages, new logo and name. But if you think the changes are cosmetic think again. Riding on the new name are bsuinesses worth over 750 million dollars. Thanks to the change in name at least 11 MSA (Master Service Agreements) will come up for renegotiation. This means they will again be up for grabs in the open market. These belong to clients who spend an average of 50 million US$ and above per annum. If Satyam were to lose anymore of its top line revenue it would be a crippling blow to an already struggling company. The competition meanwhile is thanking its lucky stars for the unexpected businesses that it might possibly pickup in the bargain.
