Thanks to Naidu’s indecisiveness, YSR is all set to welcome Talasani Srinivas Yadav into the Congress. The Secunderabad strongman from the TDP can very well turn out to be the CM’s surprise 60th birthday gift. Chandrababu it is reliably learnt is circling his wagons on Talasani aides and ensuring that they do not follow their leader. With the GHMC polls round the corner, there is no denying the fact the TDP, minus Yadav, will face severe setbacks. Even in the 2007 by-polls Talasani was one of the few leaders from telengana to retain his seat. But insiders close to Yadav, point out that election drained Yadav fiscally. The truth is Yadav had to, in a span of 5 years, fight three expensive elections. The first was the 2004 polls, which was followed by 2007 by polls (which he won) and then came the third polls in 2009, which Yadav feels he lost due to the fatal misjudgement by Naidu in aligning with the TRS. It was not the loss that rankled Yadav. The hurt came from the fact that Yadav lost to a newcomer like Jaysasudha. This was too much for Yadav to stomach and from then he has been making his moves into the Congress. Now his joining seems to be a mere formality.
