The TD-Lok Satt war intensifies
In response to JP’s challenge for an open debate the TDP think tank said it cannot bother to engage in televised debates with a party that has only won 2% of the votes. The TDP also clarified that even if the debates were to happen there was no way that Chandrababu would participate in the debate. The Lok Satta on its part responded by saying if its party was too small to engage in an open debate then how come it was considered big enough to be criticized by a “big” party like the TDP. TDP representative Ravula Chadrasekhar Reddy responded by demanding an explanation from JP as to how a non-profit foundation got converted into political party. He also said that there were allegations that JP asked for bank balances of candidates before allotting them tickets. He also accused JP of following an autocratic culture by having only his photograph published in all press releases.
