According to sources close to the TDP, opposition leader Chandrababu was, during this weekened, privy to a demo of EVMs used in April polls. The demo was reportedly organized at his residence courtesy a newspaper baron and a BJP fixer from Delhi. In that demo electronic experts and EC officials (who did not wish to be identified) have conclusively proven how the chip in the EVM was programmed in such a way that whatever the choice of the voter every 6th vote / button pressed would tally with a pre-programmed party symbol – in this case the Congress party. Then news of the EVM malfunction was selectively leaked to a few regional channels and then eventually to main stream media. The TDP is preparing a master plan on how to make use of this agitation in the ensuing GHMC polls and also on the national level. As it is Advani and Lalu Prasad Yadav have called in for a thorough investigation into the EVM malfunction role.
