TRS is a house divided - likely to split
KCR's ad-hoc and erratic manner of functioning is causing a vertical split within the TRS party. Senior leaders in the TRS like A Chandrasekhar, MLC K Dilip Kumar and D Ravindra Naik, are likely to jump on to the bandwagon of a proposed new outfit. They have already conducted a series of meetings at the New MLA Quarters in city. 15 pro-Telengana leaders have participated in these meetings. Notable among them are Devender Goud and E Peddi Reddi of the NTP. . The rebels fear that if they do not act fast, the Telengana issue would e diluted and buried. So they are likely to meet again next week where balladeer Gaddar, TRS ideologues professor K Jayashankar and Kodandaram are likely to participate. The proposed organization would strive for consolidating all pro Telangana forces like Telangana Vidyavanthula Vedika and, launch a movement for separate state so as to emerge as a formidable force by next elections.
