The political circles in the state were caught by surprise, more so the congressmen in particular. The AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi praised of all people, the TDP chief and former chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu. Rahul Gandhi said that there were some good leaders in the opposition parties too and singled out Babu for some praise. Rahul Gandhi said that Babu had done some good things during his tenure as chief minister. The congressmen in the state are shocked with the comments made by Rahul Gandhi. . The TDP on the other hand is gloating at the discomfiture of the congressmen in the state.
