The ticket aspirants who miss out in the race for party tickets are known to stage violent protests. The scenes outside the TRS and PRP offices at many places in the state gives a fair indication of the kind of violent protest they are resorting to.
In Rayalaseema, a PRP ticket aspirant who was denied ticket set a bomb in the car of a candidate who got the ticket. In many places, PRP activists even burnt the effigies of Chiranjeevi and set the party office on fire.
But a PRP leader who was denied party ticket staged a novel protest in Warangal. The man had let out his house for setting up the PRP office. The moment he learned that his name did not figure in any of the lists released by party, he set up the ‘To Let’ board outside the PRP office.
