Telugu Desam Party’s 27th Formation day celebrations were celebrated in a grand way in New Jersey, USA. Ramana Ganne organized the event.
Sailaja adluru and Priya Kothapalli lit the lamp and started the event. Geetha anchored the event.
In his introductory speech, Harnath Doddapaneni remembered the signification of Telugu Desam Party Formation and briefed achievements of Telugu Desam Party in the past 27 years under NTR and CBN’ leadership.
The event started off with an amazing documentary ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ on the life history of TDP Founder, Legend Late NTR, later followed by another nice documentary on current TDP President, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu.
The musical night by singers Parthasarathi, Sowjanya, Himabindu and Rajiv drew huge response from the crowd. Especially the numbers from Narasimha Naidu, Pokiri and YamaDonga got huge applause from the audience. Also the following kids enthralled the audience with their amazing performances - Lalasa, Natasha, Sailaja, Divya, Shilpa and Ankita. Especially their performance for ‘Rabbaru Gajulu’ song from YamaDonga drew huge cheers from audience.
All the party activists pledged that they will continue to adhere to Telugu Desam’s policies and principles and will do their best in bringing back TDP to power. They also recalled the revolutionary changes implemented by TDP and bringing enormous recognition to Telugu People across the globe. They urged the NRIs to extend their support and campaign making good use of Information Technology through phones and Internet to pass on the good words about Telugu Desam’s committed service to all sections of the people.
Everybody wished for speedy recovery of Young Tiger, Jr.NTR.
Later, documentary on Yuvaratna Nandamuri BalaKrishna followed up and drew huge cheers and whistles from fans.
Around 800 Telugu Desam Party fans, sympathizers and activists attended the event and made it a grand success. People came from different places; few people drove 200 miles for this event.
Harnath Doddapaneni and Sailaja Adluru coordinated the event. Prominent Telugu community leaders Hari Tummala, Damu Gedela, Kosaraju Saradhi and Prasad Kanagala, Mohana Krishna Mannava, Ravi Potluri attended the event.
Vasireddy Pradeep from BabaHut, Sateesh Dasari from Dakshin Restaurants sponsored the delicious food.
Telugu Desam Party activists Ravi Potluri, Mohan Krishna Mannava, Sambaiah kotapati, Bala karanam, Suresh Paruchuri, Padmini karanam, Ratna kosaraju, Vijayasri, Anil, Rambabu, Pradeep, Ramesh, Prasad, Krishna participated actively in the event in making it a grand success. Telugu Desam Party supporters thanked Mr. Ramana Ganne for organizing such a wonderful event.
Singer Parthasarathi got standing aviation from Audience for "Punyabhoomi Naadesham Namo Namami" song before concluding the event.
Program finished with Indian National anthem "Janaganamana" song.
