TTD board chairman D K Adikeshavulu Naidu is making Serious efforts are being made to rope in Prajarajyam Party chief and local MLA ’Megastar’ Chiranjeevi into Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, reports said.
It is said that he would be roped in as an ex-officio member of TTD. Quoting sources, reports said TTD board chairman D K Adikeshavulu Naidu is making earnest moves to draft the actor-politician into the religious corporate.
It is an attempt to checkmate Jaganmohan Reddy’s loyalists like Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy who himself is an ex-officio member and Tuda chief, reports added.
Sources said the district Congress leaders opposed to Jagan met DK and impressed upon him the need to bring Chiranjeevi into the TTD fold to weaken Jagan followers holding posts in TTD. It is said that DK, along with former Tirupati MLA M Venkatramana and some other leaders would soon approach chief minister K Rosaiah for a GO in this regard.
