Lal Salaam and Lal Gulaam (Sakshi video) irks TDP-left combine
Sakshi ran a commercial that even by satirical standards was downright humiliating for the TDP-left combine. As reported earlier the left parties have decided to align with the TDP for the forthcoming GHMC elections. While this is seen as a strategically sound move, the video (around 20 seconds) is sure to raise the temperatures of the supporters of both the parties. It begins quietly innocuously showing the spirited workers marching against the backdrop of Lal Salaam audio and a Lenin poster. And then a caricature of CNB appears on the screen and begins firing on the gathering. And then the scene cuts to 2009, where the CPO and CPM leaders are seen hoisting Chandrababu on their shoulders. This is where the twist occurs. The sound track of lal Salam is changed to resonate as Lal Gulaam and Chandrababu is seen sitting on the shoulders of the left leaders even while blowing away the smoke from the gun which was shown as being used in the 2005 Basheerbagh incident.
