Varudu, Pulii satellite rights fetch 5 crore each

The satellite rights of films are touching a record high. The stiff competition among private TV channels to acquire the satellite rights is proving to be a big boon to the producers. It is being said that the satellite rights of the films Varudu and Puli have gone for 5 crore each.

Both the films are still under production and will be completed only towards the end of the year. Varudu with Mahesh Babu as hero and directed by Trivikram Srinivas is a big budget film and it is expected to be ready by October.

Puli stars power star Pawan Kalyan in the lead. A London based model is the heroine. SJ Suryah of Khushi fame is the director. Puli has been delayed on account of Pawan Kalyan playing an active role in politics as the president of the Yuva Rajyam.
