Chandrababu’s industry-political nexus upsets TDP cadre
The presence of contractor M Ramesh and Industrialist Sujana Choudhry at the recently held TD legislature party (TDLP) meeting at the NTR trust Bhavan has raised many a eyebrow in the party. The TDLP was till this meeting understood to be a forum for an exclusive gathering of the newly elected MLAs and MPs. To see two industrialists in the meeting was a shocker to the old and new comers alike. They feel that Babu has not learnt the lessons of the recent poll debacle. Another development that upset the old timers was the appointment of Madhucon Chief Mr Nama Nageswara Rao as the head of the TDLP. The party old timers feel these actions will be negatively portrayed by the opposition and will further dent the party’s effect to project itself as a party of the poor and the downtrodden.
