Unperturbed by the talk of a hung Assembly in the State, Congress leaders are confident of putting up an impressive performance so much so that they hope to form the next government on their own.Six days after the conclusion of the second phase of elections in the State, Congress leaders claimed to have done some careful arithmetic and come to the conclusion that the party was on its way to retaining power.
Leaders from all the three regions have more or less echoed similar sentiments claiming that the situation was not that bad as was being put out by a section of the media.
