Chittoor – 3-each for TDP, PRP and Congress and 5 undecided

Chittoor is an indication of the state of affairs that is most likely to emerge after the results are declared. Our survey findings indicate that out of the 14 assembly constituencies the PRP, the TDP and the Congress are clearly ahead in 3 each. The remaining 5 are too close to call. Chittoor district is in the spotlight because both the TDP chief Chandrababu and the PRP Chief Chiranjeevi are contesting from this district. Chandrababu is contesting from Kuppam, while Chiranjeevi is contesting form Tirupati. That makes it 1-each for the TDP and the PRP. The TDP is also likely to win Nagiri and Kalahasti, while the PRP is clearly leading the way in Tamaballapalli and Madanapalle. The Congress too is leading in three constituencies – Punganuru, Chittoor and Gangadhara Nellore. In the remaining five, the key constituency is Chandragiri. Here cine star Roja is pitting her might against Galla Aruna of Congress. Congress holds a slight edge here. In Satyavedu, Hemalatha of TDP holds a slight edge over K N Swamy of Congress. In Pileru and Plamaneru the fight is primarily between the TDP and the PRP, while in Pootalapattu Amarnath Reddy of the TDP has a slight edge over Reddappa Reddy of the Congress.
