Sooner or later it was bound to happen. The war of words between “Kaapu Titans” Chiranjeevi and Dasari Narayana Rao resumed when the former attacked him in a press conference in Eluru. When journalists bought to Chiranjeevi’ss notice the “Kondaraivaadu” phrase used by Dasari Narayana Rao on the PRP Chief, Chiranjeevi gave a sarcastic laugh and retorted if “Dasari was still in active politics.”. He rubbished charges made by Dasari Narayana Rao and the Congress that he had done little or nothing for his home town. He replied that there was no need to comment on everything said by everybody. Regarding specific comments made on PRP’s ideology by Dasari Narayana Rao Chiranjeevi gave a tongue-in-cheek reply that he will leave it to Dasari’s (lack of) judgement. Unlike the Bollywood industry which displays a significant level of solidarity, Chiranjeevi is fighting a lone battle with no support from the Tollywood fraternity.
