The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Wednesday released the first list of candidate for 15 Assembly segments amid noisy scenes sparked by the protests by the party activists at Telangana Bhavan.
The names of the candidates with their constituencies in brackets are: Kaveti Sammaiah (Sirpur), Srihari Rao (Nirmal), Kappula Eswar (Dharmapuri), P Gopi (Asifabad), T Padma Rao (Sanatnagar), Chandrasekhar (Vikarabad), Sudharshan Rao (Kukatpally), Pratap Reddy (Janagam), Anajaiah Yadav (Shadnagar), Aravind Reddy (Mancherial), Vidyasagar (Warangal-West), Syed Ibrahim (Mahababunagar), Guvvala Balraj (Atchampet) and Sridhar Goud (Muktal).
Meanwhile, the activists from various places resorted to protests and started shouting slogans in favour one or other candidates. A section of them demanded that the TRS field Mr Bhikshapati from Parakala Assembly segment. Another section of activists registered their protests for not selecting Ramula Naik for Bodh Assembly constituency.
