Nagarjuna and Mamta Mohandas’s new film is currently being shot in Hyderabad.
Kiran is making his debut as a director with this film. D Siva Prasad Reddy is producing this movie under the Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. D.Siva Prasad Reddy addressed a press conference earlier today and said that he’s very happy to produce this film on the eve of 25 years of Kamakshi KalaMovies banner. So far, 80% of the film has been shot and another 20 days of shooting is remaining. This film will be released in the second week of January during Sankranthi.
Currently, a fight between Nagarjuna and Kelly Dorjee is being shot in Sarathi Studios. After this, a song between the lead pair will be shot in Greece. The climax of the film will be shot in Hyderabad. Linda, an American actress is acting in an important role in the film. ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ fame Ankur, ‘Bandit Queen’ fame Nirmal Pandey, ‘Lagaan’ fame Akhilendra Mishra and ‘Don’ fame Kelly Dorjee are playing other roles inthe film. Siva Prasad Reddy also added that the film hasn’t been decided yet and it will be announced soon. Sarvesh Murari is the Cinematographer and Sandeep Chowta is the music director. Kiran has also written the story, dialogues and screenplay forthe film apart from directing it. The film is said to be revolving around the theme of Cards and Nagarjuna plays the role of a con. We will have to wait till January, 2010 to be completely dazzled by Nagarjuna’s new style.
