For all those naysayers who doubt who holds the real power chains to the TDP the doubts should have been dispelled yesterday afternoon. Even CBN did not draw such an enthusiastic response from the crowds. Balakrishna has a way of connecting with people that few TDP leaders can ever hope to match. He is honest. And fears none. He speaks his mind on issues and shows genuine empathy to the needs of the people. Balayya began his campaign after offering prayers at the Vijaya Durga temple in Saidabad. TDP supporters were seen beaming with joy when their star campaigner let loose the choicest abuses against the Congress. Balayya blamed the Congress for the terror attacks, spiraling prices and bad infrastructure. He said that the TDP was the only party that can ensure a clean and green Hyderabad.
