Jalagam Venkat Rao back to Congress




Expelled Congress leader from Khammam Jalagam Venkata Rao, who contested the recent general elections as a rebel candidate returned to the ruling party on Wednesday.

Mr. Rao, who entered the contest from Khammam Assembly constituency in the elections held in April this year was expelled. He set his eyes on the Khammam seat after the Sathupally constituency was reserved as part of delimitation exercise.

The former MLA who had a running feud with former Union Minister Renuka Chowdary met Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy along with 500 supporters at the latter’s camp office announced his decision to work for the party.
