According to film nagar sources, P R P Vice President T Devender Goud is desperately trying to prevail upon the party president Chiranjeevi for coming to an understanding with Telugu Desam Party in the forthcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. On Tuesday, Goud met CPI-M state secretary B V Raghavulu and discussed with him the prospects of a united opposition facing the Congress in the GHMC elections. He is learnt to have asked Raghavulu to convince Chiranjeevi to have a grand alliance, without of course, the TRS and the BJP. However, Chiranjeevi is said to be adamant in not extending a hand of friendship to the TDP. He reportedly told Goud that he was ready for any alliance without TDP, BJP and TRS. Goud is said to be disappointed over Chiru’s tough stand.
