Better late than never! At last the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu picked up the battle cry on rising prices. In a strategically chosen meeting in Lok Satta’s stronghold Kukatpally, the TDP leader told a fairly large sized gathering that if the Congress is voted to power in GHMC elections the price of Kandhi pappu will surely cross the Rs. 200 mark. He termed as insensitive Congress’s remarks to wait for four months to bring down process of pulses and food grains. When he said that the Congress government had even stopped making any pretense to control process there was a fairly strong response from the crowd. Sections of the crowd shouted Jai TDP, Jai Chandrababu. He appealed to the people not to waste their votes on first time parties as they were ill-equipped to understand the challenges of governance.
