For the chief of a political party whose symbol was the "car" , it was ironical that a car in the garage of his home in Banjara Hills should make headlines in news channels all across the state. But the car in question this time was no ordinary car. It was a swanky new Audi costing over a Crore of Rupees, no less! According to sources inside the party the car might have been gifted by industrialists close to the Congress. Another rumor doing the rounds is the car was gifted by members close to the TDP. "With KCR being wooed by chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu to join them in the post-election scenario, it could have been anyone,” a TRS leader said but refused to divulge the benefactor. There are only about a handful of Audis in Hyderabad. The proud owner of one of them is CM’s son-in-law Brother Anil Kumar. KCR's son confirmed an Audi was in their house but refused to divulge the name of its owner.
