Former Praja Rajyam Party general secretary Parakala Prabhakar, who quit the party recently, says there is a threat to his life from Chiranjeevi Though Parakala did not name Chiranjeevi directly, he met Director General of Police A K Mohanty on Wednesday and submitted a representation seeking police protection to him. “Ever since I resigned from the PRP, I have been getting threatening calls from some leaders in the party, stating that I would be killed if I don’t stop exposing murky affairs in the party. Hence, I request police protection,” he said. What a joke?
What would anybody gain by killing Parakala? It appears to be yet another high-voltage drama by him to garner publicity and sympathy.
