Praja Rajyam Party general secretary Parakala Prabhkar, who resigned from the party on Thursday, had to face a humiliation before his exit. After leaking the news of his resignation to the media for the last two days, Parakala came to the party office in the afternoon but there was not a single soul in the party office to take his resignation letter. Having no other way, he directly came to the press conference hall where the portraits of Ambedkar, Mother Teresa and Phule are mounted on the wall. As soon as he started giving poses for cameramen to take the pictures of his resignation letters, some of “media persons” started shouting at him, calling a backstabber and abusing him in filthy language. Prabhakar was stunned as he did not expect that there would be Chiranjeevi fans among media persons. He put up an embarrassing smile, even as one of the “scribes” tried to throw his chappal at him.
