When it comes to politics in India, it is hard to find even one conscientious leader who believes in serving for the society. Even in our own state, some of the so-called ’service oriented’ individuals seem to have their own motives when they get into politics and it gets exposed in no time.
One name to be taken here is that of Jayaprakash Narayan who found the Lok Satta Party. There is news that the reason for him taking Kukatpally segment is because it has more Kamma population followed by Rajus. Also, he is said to have given the ticket for Vignan Raththayya for the sole purpose of money and funding without any credentials.
Many are saying that the Lok Satta tickets list comprises of nearly 80% of Kamma candidates and it goes to show the ‘caste card’ that JP has despite his words of wisdom and vision. Politicians are making this a playground in the garb of caste and religion and one hope that the people realize it and do something about it.
