Mahakutami is back on track

The TDP and the TRS leaders heaved a sigh of relief and what can be termed as a relatively happy ending to the seat sharing episode. In at least 42 seats in Telengana they lend a happy balance and thrust to each other’s victory chances. Out of these 42 seats, the TDP wills strengthen the prospects of the TRS candidates in a minimum of 24 seats. In the remaining 18 seats the TS will strengthen the equation n favour of the TDP. The left though plays the vital role of the catalyst. In terms of volume votes the left does not match any of the leading parties in the state. But what the left has going in its favour is the sheer solidity of its votes. In most constituencies where there is a triangular fight the solidity of the left vote bank cannot be underplayed. Victories in these seats will be decided within the margins of a few thousands, and this is where the Mahakutami has to thank the left for its vote bank. With the seat sharing issue resolved, The Chandrababu-led kutami now is targeting the ruling party seats in the secretariat.
