The Prajarajyam Party on Sunday slammed chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and some of his cabinet colleagues for planning to go on a holiday soon after elections.
Party president Chiranjeevi, in a press release, alleged that the chief minister and his cabinet colleagues were shirking their responsibilities as soon as the elections came to an end in the state.
He demanded the state government to restore normalcy in the power sector as it was severely affecting the rural folk. The PRP chief alleged that the government had backtracked on its promise made to the industrial and farm sectors. He said that the three-day `power holiday' announced by the government for industries was affecting more than three lakhs daily-wage workers.
