PRP to settle for ‘Umberlla’ as party symbol

The Praja Rajyam party of Chiranjeevi has been fighting for a common symbol for some time now. The party approached the election commission and also filed a case in the High court. But in a surprising development the part withdrew its case in the court. The PRP is now more or less set to finalize ‘Umbrella’ as its symbol. The PRP has zeroed in on the Sikkim Democratic Front. The party is a registered state party in Sikkim and the PRP is negotiating with the party for allowing the PRP to sue the symbol in Andhra Pradesh.
