At last TANA 2009 is a failure, say observers and visitors those have been making their presence in this occasion from past many years. Totally 4000+ have turned up for the event which is a big set back. Earlier 10000+ has been the response but this time the expectations have bitten the mud.
The reason for this is also being attributed to the newly formed society NATS. As both TANA and NATS conducted their events at a time there is an expected split.
On the other hand NATS is a new society and it proved successful with 3500+ participants in a place like Orlando, where Telugu population are lesser in number when compared to that of Chicago where TANA is held.
On the other hand CATS also made a big split for TANA (intentionally) by pulling 2000+ visitors in Chicago.
Now sources say that TANA is making ways to make NATS merge in it. Let us see how things will move in near future.
