Kovvur MLA case – who knows more?
Something is not jelling in the Rama Rao case. Even as the girls from Kerala met the home minister and the case has gained national recognition with the governments in Delhi and Trivandrum getting involved the Kovvur MLA, Rama Rao is not backing down. More surprisingly his party chief Chandrababu who normally distances himself from such cases is also stepping up the pressure on the government. Yesterday Babu met the Governor and made a representation about his MP being harassed by the ruling party. Even more surprising was the manner in which Chandrababu exhorted his party men to file cases against certain sections of the media which he described was out to malign the Dalits and the opposition parties. Meanwhile the CM is maintaining an all-knowing silence. So we have a situation in which both Naidu and Reddy know more about the Rama Rao case than the CID itself. And we obviously know that Rama Rao knows more about this case than all the three parties combined!
