A tale of 2 Chandrasekhars being played out in TRS

TRS rebels want former minister A Chandrasekhar to step in as the party chief. Nayani Narasimha Rao is the emissary who has been chosen for the not too pleasant task of asking KCR to quit. KCR was the man who founded the TRS and gave it a form and function. But due to a series of omissions and commissions made in the past 2 years, KCR has slowly but surely lost his grip on the movement and the party. From back in 2004, when the TRS was seen as being synonymous with the Telengana movement to the present when the TRS is a pale shadow of itself with a mere 10 MLAs and 2 MPs in Delhi, KCR has seen the highs and lows of the movement. But off late his failures have been too numerous and his successes have been few and far between. It was therefore inevitable that his reign would be challenged and his days numbered as the chief of the party.
