Prominent TDP leader from Telengana and long time Samikhya Vadi Talasani Yadav is all set to quit the TDP if Chandrababu does not drop the separate statehood stand and adopt Samaikhya Vadam. Mr Yadav feels that moving away from the United Andhra stand proved to be TDP’s undoing. Yadav was categorical that the people of Telengana had rejected the statehood issue and was bewildered when Chandrababu announced the tie up with TRS despite the latter’s poor show in the 2007 by polls. Talasani Yadav did not attend the ongoing meetings of the TDP despite Babu’s invitation. He has warned the TDP that he will have to look at alternate sources if the TDP did not mend its ways. For Chandrababu the irony couldn’t be more complete. After losing Goud for standing against the statehood issue he is all set to lose Yadav for siding with the statehood issue.
