Maha Kutami to sweep Ranga Reddy - Hyderabad is 50:50
The Maha Kutami is all set to sweep the 7 seats in RR district. Major Congress casualties include Sabita Indira Reddy from Maheswaram and Bikshapati Yadav from Serlingampally. Congress will also lose in Chevella in all probablity. Prabhakar Reddy of Kutami will emerge as the giant killer after vanquishing Sabita Indira Reddy. The PRP, Lok Satta and the BJP are not likely to have any impact in RR District. If our poll analysis trends are any indication, the Congress is not even running it tight in RR district.In Hyderabad, however out of the 21 seats contested the Congress and the Kutami will comfortably win 5 each, the BJP is likely to retain Amberpet, while the PRP will open its account in Yakutpura and Kutballapur. Charminar will remain with the Majilis, as does Jubilee hills with Congress. Big names like Vijaya Rama Rao of Kutami (contesting from Khairatabad) are likely to take a beating. Jayasudha too will not make any impact in Secunderabad, as Srinivasa Yadav of Kutami is likely to register a thumping win. But the issue in focus that has emerged is there are at least 6 seats which are too close to call. They are: Cantonment, Nampally, Khairatabad, Serlingampally, Kukatpally, and Karvan. Except in Kukatpally, where the fight is between Lok Satta and Congress, in all others the fight is between Congress and Kutami.
