Kutami slightly ahead in Srikakulam
With wins in Pathapatnam, Srikakulam and Itchapuram, the Kutami seems to be edging ever so slightly ahead of its key rivals the PRP and the Congress. The Congress is sure to win in Palasa and, Palakonda. The PRP too is almost certain to bag Etcherla and Amudhalavalasa. Like in all other districts the ones that hold the key are way too close to call. They are: Tekkali, Narsannapeta and Rajam. The fight in all these three is between the Congress and the PRP. Chiranjeevi had hoped for a much better show in this district, but the voters seemed to be in a wait and watch mood. This is also Yerran Naidu’s strong hold and it is not surprising that the Kutami is holding strong in his key constituencies. As regards the MP front Yerran Naidu is expected to face a tough fight from the Congress, but he will in all probability just pip the post ahead of the others!
